Book Review | The List of My Desires by Grégoire Delacourt

"Sorrow is allowed, sorrow is advised; all we have to do is let go, all we have to do is love."

The List of My Desires by Grégoire Delacourt
This book was so lovely there really isn't another way to put it.

This isn't something I would normally read at all, its an adult novel and follows a middle-aged woman named Jocelyne and her typical married life living a very ordinary existence thats until something comes up that could then change her life for the best or the worst.

Its definitely nothing I would ever read in my opinion but I am really glad I did, this is so LOVELY! If you happen to come across it or someone is your family happens to have it lying around......read it! Its so heart warming and just beautifully written. I honestly thought Jocelyne's friends the twins (Daniele and Francoise) were the best, they were so freaking hilarious and quirky not to mention such amazing friends. There are parts where I legit cried with Jocelyne and felt as though I wanted to be there to comfort her and everything. *sobs*

Can we also take a moment for this cover of buttons, its so pretty. There are also so many great, worthwhile phrases in this book. I do recommend reading this if you're planning to, or if its on your 'tbr' or even if your conflicted to pick it up, I don't think you would regret it at all.
